2018 marks almost 20 years since J.K. Rowling revealed the first copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Ever since then, this book series/movies have become a phenomenon and famed J.K. Rowling into one of the best authors and writers. At Norseman Global, we are inspired by anyone who rises from the ashes. We are encouraged by those that take a stand and never give up regardless of what life throws at them. For us, that one person we take inspiration from is J.K. Rowling. She was rejected by numerous publications and bookstores when she presented them with the story of Harry Potter. But she believed in herself, and after some time, it became a hit. Regardless of rejection, Rowling’s victory prevailed.
At Norseman Global, we admire Harry Potter because the writing carries such deep meaning and lessons for those that want to strive to reach their goals. Everyone has a purpose professionally and personally, and for those struggling to find it within themselves, Harry Potter’s lesson helps them out. “There are countless lessons to be taken into account when it comes to Harry Potter. It is essential that we make a note of them since we are inspired by these books and Rowling,” says Erik Lickiss, managing director of Norseman Global.
One of the greatest lessons we learned from Harry Potter is to have courage. Courage is something that Harry shows regardless of what people think of him. He knows what he needs to do, and even in the most confusing times, he trusted himself to carry out the tasks provided to him by his leaders. He shows courage to fight against adversities and negative concepts. Without this courage and heart, he would not be the one to defeat the antagonist of this plot. Similarly, we need courage to purpose our dreams and do well in our careers.
